We guarantee that all Urbanfloor wood planks are of highest quality. Urbanfloor wood planks may show some color differences due to woods nature of individuality. However, we guarantee that all wood planks are of highest quality. All Urbanfloor engineered wood planks can be installed on any level (including basement) and comes with a 25-year warranty. Platinum Shield™ UV 7 coat finish with Aluminum Oxide Crystals technology
Our Platinum Shield™ UV 7 coat finish with Aluminum Oxide Crystals technology provides the most durable finish available for hardwood floors. The satin (low gloss) finish seals the wood surface to ensure that each Urbanfloor wood plank shows its true color and beauty. The strength and stability of our engineered flooring make care and maintenance easy, providing enjoyment for years to come.

Surface Layer
The top hard wood layer measuring 1/8 inch is protected with 7 coats of UV cured, formaldehyde free, acrylic varnish and Aluminum Oxide Crystals to ensure the durability of the wear layer. Our top layer is 1/8" solid wood with a vividly aesthetically pleasing and detailed hand distressed technique with hand-scraped edge and ends. Our smooth and rich flat engineered wood flooring also has a 1/8” thick top layer with micro-bevel edge and ends.

8-Ply Cross Grain Construction
There's strength in numbers. Every Urbanfloor™ hardwood floor is constructed with seven plies for optimum strength and durability. Each ply is laid cross-grain to those above and beneath it. With each ply reinforcing the next, and with the strongest resins bonding all layers together, the combined result is far stronger than a single solid piece of wood — warranted not to warp or buckle.

Precise Milling Technology
State-of-the art milling technology is used to micro-bevel the edges and ends of each Urbanfloor wood plank. This technology ensures a satin smooth transition and tight fit between strips for a virtually seamless look. On the Hand-scraped Collection, ends and edges are scraped creatively by our wood masters.

Certification Tests
Urbanfloor ran series of quality assurance tests for every piece of wood we deliver. These tests includes Tabor Abration, Adhesive Bond and Large Chamber Test for Formadehyde Emissions. Learn more about these tests.

Janka Hardness Test
