It allows you to see what achievements have been made, goals that have been met, etc. We can then use this information as a guide to direct us in becoming better the next year. Without further ado, Urban Floor would like to take you back in time to review our highlights of 2014.<\/p>\n<h3>#SELFIE Parody<\/h3>\n<p>Earlier in the year there was a viral song that went around known as #SELFIE by The Chainsmokers. We like to think we\u2019re down\u2013to-earth individuals over here at Urban Floor, hence why we decided to ride the train and create a parody of the video \u2013 it wasn\u2019t necessarily \u201cviral\u201d but it did receive over a thousand views!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qAyd42fp--w\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>TOP BRAND OF THE YEAR!<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/urbanfloor.com\/blog\/best-hardwood-floor-price-product-availability-urban-floor\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-1166\" src=\"http:\/\/urbanfloor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/image-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"best hardwood floor brand\" width=\"130\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a>Towards the middle of the year, we were named one of the top brands of 2014 for two select categories: price and product availability. This was a huge highlight of 2014 for the whole team here at Urban Floor. It let us know that the hard work, time, and effort is paying off \u2013 similar to how it feels when you see results from hitting the gym after a few weeks!<\/p>\n<h3>Rowhouse Showdown &#8211; An Exciting New Show<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fyi.tv\/shows\/rowhouse-showdown\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1219\" src=\"http:\/\/urbanfloor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Screen-Shot-2014-08-29-at-2.30.27-PM-300x149.png\" alt=\"rowhouse showdown\" width=\"282\" height=\"140\" \/><\/a>Around the same time, we became promotional partners with A&amp;E Television Network\u2019s Rowhouse Showdown. This was an exciting opportunity for Urban Floor to get our name out there on a broad platform. The best part \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/urbanfloor.com\/blog\/urban-floor-hardwood-floors-rowhouse-showdown\">some of our floors were actually used in the show<\/a>!<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"padding-top: 24px;\">Ch\u00eane by Urban Floor<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanfloor.com\/Chene\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1204\" src=\"http:\/\/urbanfloor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Screen-Shot-2014-08-19-at-5.02.33-PM.png\" alt=\"chene european oak by urban floor\" width=\"580\" height=\"328\" \/><\/a>During the summertime, we released a new line of engineered hardwood floors: the Ch\u00eane collection \u2013 a collection of fine European oak flooring. We\u2019re very proud of its release, as it has been well received. European flooring truly a fantastic look!<\/p>\n<h3>New Youtube Videos to Highlight Collections<\/h3>\n<p>Come Fall, we were eager to showoff the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PL86B44ABD326797B5\">newest videos that were added to our collections playlist on Youtube<\/a>. These videos give a quick, simple rundown of what our flooring collections offer with plenty of visuals for you to soak up!<\/p>\n<h3>Giving Back to the Community<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/media\/set\/?set=a.818408538197536.1073741840.115217045183359&amp;type=1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1380\" src=\"http:\/\/urbanfloor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/urban-give-back-to-community-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"urban floor gives back to the community\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>To close the year off, we\u2019re proud to say we <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/media\/set\/?set=a.818408538197536.1073741840.115217045183359&amp;type=1\">gave back to our community<\/a> by hosting a charity event where tons of gifts were donated to a total of 27 families, as well as to the \u201cDoor of Hope\u201d organization. What can we say\u2026 We love putting smiles on faces!<\/p>\n<h3><em>New Resolutions<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>All in all, it\u2019s been a great year for everyone here at Urban Floor. We\u2019re happy we can provide hardwood floor enthusiasts with quality-made hardwood floors from start to finish. It is always our goal to continue providing both quality flooring options and excellent service to our customers.
