help please!!!!!&#8221;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_305\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/urbanfloor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/HickorySunset.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-305\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-305\" title=\"HickorySunset\" src=\"http:\/\/urbanfloor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/HickorySunset-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-305\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hickory Sunset from our Handscraped Series in the Urban Lifestyle Collection<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re leaving out the name to protect the innocent but thought this was an important tidbit of info to share with ya&#8217;ll.<\/p>\n<p>Lacquer thinner should <strong>NEVER<\/strong> be used on finished flooring,\u00a0because it will strip the top coat and there really isn&#8217;t a way to get\u00a0the poly urethane top coat back to match the other wood planks once it&#8217;s gone. \u00a0The only way to fix this is to replace the damaged planks with new ones.<\/p>\n<p>When you are a contracted installer it&#8217;s tough to admit error especially when there is money at stake but this is where a code of solid business ethics comes into play and you &#8220;man-up&#8221; to responsibility and learn so it never happens again. \u00a0If an installer makes a mistake they should guarentee their work. \u00a0If they make a mistake they should fix it. \u00a0As consumers we don&#8217;t always know best which is why we hire professionals to do certain jobs in the first place right?
